Frequently Asked Questions
Where do you meet?
We meet in the Berry Hall at the rear of the Tramshed at Narrabeen (see Map).
How do I get there?
There is a bus stop just down from the Tramshed on Pittwater Road at Narrabeen. Local buses stop there as do the B1 buses.
Do I have to be a member to participate?
Yes, we ask you to fill out a membership form and pay (by cash or bank transfer) a $40 annual subscription fee (plus a $20 admin fee in the first year). This covers the rent for the hall, and the purchase of new books and equipment. There is also a $5.00 fee for each meeting which covers morning tea.
Where do I park?
There is some timed parking in the car park beside the Tramshed. Street parking is available on both sides of Pittwater Road after 10am. There is a 3 hour Council car park in Lagoon Street (between Waterloo and Albert Streets), just a short walk from the Tramshed.
How do I join a meeting for the first time?
Just come along to a meeting and see if you like us, then you can become a member to participate in our activities.
